As a former track and field athlete, Ethan brings years of body-awareness and an acute empathy to his clients. With nine years experience in sports fitness and personal training, coupled with his background in acting for stage and film, Ethan’s creative approach to physical fitness and his offbeat sense of humor add to the effectiveness in his training sessions. He believes you should be serious about reaching your goals, but have fun along the way. With his clients, he instills that if you put your mind to it, anything is achievable. Of course, repetition is key. Always practice, and always strive to be better than you were before.

 

What’s your favorite exercise and why?
Clean and Jerks. It's a complex movement combining timing, power, and fluidity.

What’s exercise or fitness fad do you think is overrated?
Ab exercises to get a flat stomach. It's all about your nutrition, not doing 1,000 sit-ups a day.

What do you on your rest day?
Dance with my daughter, read, write, and play music.
